I recently spent the day touring around the Argenta Arts District in North Little Rock. The Thea Foundation was holding its annual festival and we decided to make a day out of it (and check on my home plate before it was auctioned off forever!). It wasn’t as busy as I expected. There was a live band playing at the foot of the street.
After the bandstand, there was a tent to learn more about Thea and some other community organizations. I was able to sign up to volunteer at the Little Rock Film Festival next month! The street was completely closed to traffic and was divided into two main sections. The first section housed a bunch of tents with artists selling their creations.
The second section (and by far the busiest!!) was tents setup with hands on demonstrations. This place was crazy packed!
After spending a few hours wandering around, we decided to stop in and grab a sandwich and stay with the art theme of the day!
